ABOUT US
The Clarity Foundation brings together behavioural science, professional practice and lived experience to improve how harmful and complex patterns of behaviour are understood, recognised and responded to.

OUR STORY
Why Clarity exists.
Clarity is being built to bring expertise, research and real-world experience together: to deepen understanding of harmful and high-conflict behaviour, support more informed decisions and encourage earlier, more effective interventions.
FOUNDING STORY AND INSTITUTIONAL STATUS — PENDING CONFIRMATION
Helena Steele
FOUNDER & CHAIR
Helena founded The Clarity Foundation from a longstanding interest in human behaviour and a conviction that greater behavioural understanding can improve the decisions we make around complex and harmful interpersonal dynamics.
Her work spans behavioural science, occupational psychology, performance coaching and behavioural assessment, with particular interests in coercive and controlling behaviour, high-conflict dynamics, decision-making and the way behavioural evidence is interpreted by individuals and institutions.
Through Clarity, Helena’s ambition is to bring behavioural understanding out of academic and specialist settings and translate it into practical education, tools and frameworks that can make a measurable difference in the real world.
