OUR FIRST PROJECT
Recognising Coercion in Teenage Relationships
Online and Offline
First project · In development
Coercion in young people’s relationships can unfold across messages, social media, peer groups and everyday life. When information is considered separately, the wider pattern can be difficult to recognise.
The Clarity Foundation is developing a proposed Decision Lab to explore how professionals interpret emerging concerns, connect information and make informed decisions.
The proposed format is a 90-minute facilitated session built around a fictional case, revealed in stages. Participants would examine their assumptions, identify further information needed and consider responses within existing safeguarding procedures.
We intend to develop the project with relevant practitioners, safeguarding specialists, researchers and young people’s perspectives. An initial pilot would assess learning and inform whether further development is worthwhile.
Interested in contributing?
We welcome conversations with professionals and organisations who could help shape, review or evaluate the proposed pilot.
